The Racera Snow Leopard 8 are our mid-level full ceramic skate bearings that are made with G5 (highest rating able to be produced) hardened high precision zirconium dioxide (Zr02 zirconia) balls encased in PTFE cages. Our zirconium dioxide balls are sourced from a premium Japanese manufacturer. Zirconia is an extremely hard ceramic compound that is also used in high end chef knives, dental crowns, fuel cells and the gemstone industry. The inner and outer races are also made from zirconia. These bearings do not require any lubrication and are not to be lubricated in any way. To clean them, you simply run them under running water inside the wheels and spin them dry or dry them with oil free compressed air. Care needs to be taken when inserting and removing these full ceramic bearings from metal hubs and plastic tools should be used instead of metal ones to avoid chipping the races. These bearings are completely white in appearance and run extremely fast.

They are designed for inline and quad racing.
